  • The Church is small but beautiful, already entering you notice immediately the magnificence even though part of the building was bombed during World War II. Behind a small door leads, but only at certain times, from Santa or Santa Caterina de Vigri. His body is still perfectly preserved although death dates back to 1400 and is said not to have been mummified. The Holy, from its glass case, it seems that you look and dispense advice sitting in his chair inside his small Golden shrine. From bolognese can say that Santa is one of the best things to see in Bologna, you have left in your heart.

  • When I walked in, I felt it was a church, like many others, I attended a holy mass, the parish priest, but only after came the surprise. We went to see Santa, my wife and I were speechless, beautiful, wonderful. Be careful, though, call before going to the monastery to inquire about the opening day of the Santa, just because they aren't all. Then the sister who welcomed us and we spoke to, really 10 e lode, we felt at home, comforted and encouraged.

  • Beautiful church that has preserved the intact body of Saint Catherine of Bologna (or dei Vigri), founder of this church and adjacent monastery. From the body of the Holy nuns extract a prodigious liquid that can be bought in the monastery.
