  • I love the art gallery. It's never too crowded so it's possible to get some one on one time with the art works. A lot of the collection is religious art - which I love. If you look closely some of the...  more »
  • A nice Museum in a beautiful building in the heart of Bologna. The arrangement of works of art from a chronological point of view, is well organized and are exposed many paintings by the exquisite workmanship ... The Museum is accessible to visitors with mobility difficulties, should be appreciated (I think) on a day when you have a little more free time, not because it is an immense place but because being a small museum you can observe the works of art in peace ... Among the many museums that I visited, it seems to me that the Pinacoteca di Bologna is the most leaning toward the visitor, in the sense that it appears as though the artwork (and consequently their authors) are so "close and tangible" from making it engaging and not just a box/container. Having said that, I add a slight downside: the bad lighting that "some" of works of art and thus suffer the observer, with unpleasant and disturbing glare. The last piece of information relates to the cost of admission: 6 euros. Pierluigi Manors

  • A full rundown of the highest expression of painting during the period from the 13TH to the 18th century divided into periods with a logical sense. Museum on a human scale without the usual trivial and useless distractions kind bar although you might stay here a whole afternoon for the amount of works to look patiently. I will not dwell to explain the works as widely and properly done cavalieretemplare59 and I from reports from amedeo. The Gallery is sublime. All for my personal taste the works of guido Reni and Guercino in addition to a complete rebuild of the frescoes of the chapel of Mezzaratta.

  • Had to brush up on bible and allegory but great paintings and excellent gallery setting gives scale and impact the art deserves. Check out the lecture theatre
  • Absolutely amazing place, must visit
  • Didn't expect to see such a lot of beautiful works in this rather small museum. Bellissimo!!
  • Great
  • Unfortunately, I can not write any judgment because, incredibly, an art gallery that important State, moreover, is closed to the public on Sunday morning. I'm a regular visitor of museums and I can say I remember the case of a State so important Gallery closed on Sunday morning and on Saturdays. The choice is also entirely incongruous compared to the targets of the city about the expansion of services to tourists Roberto Catlow r.chicarella@alice.it
