  • Huge space on the side of via Indipendenza, on the left going to the train station to piazza Maggiore, where Friday and Saturday there is the equally huge and chaotic city market. The piazza has nothing particularly interesting if the entrance to the gardens of Montagnola.

  • Square where on Fridays and Saturdays there is a market, where you can find great bargains, the rest of the week the square is little used

  • I was today at the popular Saturday morning market in Bologna, next to the train station, were at least two years that I wasn't: what a disappointment! The quality of the stand has expired tremendously, now is a second hand market or super cheap, all banks equal to ninety percent run by foreigners. The worst thing though is the invasion of Gypsies and beggars who are there for the stalls, which annoyed both customers that the poor shopkeepers. A shame really. I have to say to Prato della Valle in Padua is way better at everything.
