  • Astonishing. I was lucky to spend a year in Bologna and came here every week. The adjoining streets are filled with small bars and restaurants, some simple Italian, others more upmarket. Superb food markets for those who can stay and cook for themselves, and lovely shops. A great place to forget the time, talk (or not), read and watch the world.
  • The piazza is has clearly been the central meeting point for all types of activities for centuries. The plaza itself is very spacious and there are many cafes and restaurants on adjoining streets. It is a good place to relax in the sun or catch your bearings.
  • I loved this place! It`s probably the main attraction site of Bologna, live music is playing, so many restaurant, enjoying people. Definitely a mood refreshing place!
  • Extremely beautiful, but most of the city looks the same to me, hence it doesn't add so much value to me going here. If you're into history and ancient architecture, it's a must visit. The half-ready cathedral is interesting.
  • Unreal piazza during the day. It stays sunny, there is usually live music or some sort of entertainment. There are Cafe's and places for aperol spritz. At night this piazza is typically dead. You're better to go to piazza Verdi or piazza San Francesco.
