  • A beautiful park of the day, with French-style gardens, the end of the 19th century, as the sun sets, turns into a meeting place for immigrants. The natives are disappearing, afraid. Why does the police allow this? It seems to me unacceptable, for such a beautiful city, with such a great story...!!!

  • Having been to a number of public parks in Italy, this one could be a jewels for Bologna, but due to what seems to be neglect, it is not. There are some great open spaces, interesting concrete structu...  more »
  • It is a large park on the north side of the old town with Bologna Central Station and bus terminal, but it is built as the oldest urban park in the city and its history is likely to date back to the 17th century. When I visited, the park is higher than the ground, and in Japan, it is the height of the line of sight that looks like walking on the Pedestrian Deck in front of the station. Originally, this place was a collection of rubble from the Middle Ages, so it seems to have piled up and spread widely into a park, but in the process Napoleon, who went on an Italian expedition, gave money and ordered the landscaping of the French style garden, In addition, a beautifully designed staircase going up to the park called the pincho stairs was added, and a large fountain in the center was built to coincide with the exposition, and it seems to have become what it is today.

  • Well priced, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Rooms are basically designed for sleeping and getting cleaned up and not for extensive lounging. Good continental breakfast is provided in a dining area at additional cost. On easily accessible bus route (Bus #2) to train station which is a major plus. Located within walking distance to lake and other places of interest in the city.
  • The park is a nice place if you want to have some time for yourself, away from all the trouble in the city. It’s quiet and clean and the climate is way better since you have trees and therefore shadow there. It also has some small bistros where you can get cheap coffee and some snacks. In the evenings there are always events! When we went there, they had a DJ and very neat Italian songs playing 😏
  • Great park with lots of activities. Also welcoming in the evening with lots of lanterns around to still feel safe
  • Nice place, there are chairs and tables, Events and also the market. Want to just chill? Definitely a good option to choose
  • A very nice park with a bar (check opening hours) and food available at the evening (check opening hours), great for enjoying free shows with locals over the weekend.
