  • Garden on a map of looked awesome, so because everything was closed Monday, decided to go. In fact this is not a park, and not grounds, and training for students outside the fence. Small space occupied parnikami (closed), signed by the plants, tiny pond and a high plane, you can get around it for a minute. One plus-admission is free.

  • For those that follow my reviews you know I like to visit botanical gardens. Located in a walkable distance from the city centre on the university campus, the garden is small and needs a lot of work b...  more »
  • A green oasis in the heart of the University District. Free entry being at the University. Ideal for an hour of recreation among plants and trees of all kinds. A bit sparse descriptions. You could maybe finance some maintenance with a symbolic price ticket. Maybe adults only leaving free for children and students.

  • If you come to Bologna, definitely worth a visit local botanical garden of the University of Bologna. This is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Italy. It includes really wonderful exhibits and very cared greenhouses, where for more hot temperatures (particularly welcome during the winter months) are countless succulents and other heat-loving plants. Free entry.
  • Great "hidden" place. Very nice & relaxing.
  • A little corner of paradise, especially in spring when everything is reborn. The thing I find most beautiful is the spirit of sharing: you can take the seedlings exhibited, in Exchange for a free contribution. See the students ask questions about plants and experts able to respond with passion and competence was a complete joy. If you want a moment of quiet, is the ideal and I hope to be embraced.

  • One of the most relaxing places in bologna. If you are looking for a bit of peace, on the bench under the tree is the right place but extremely interesting from a cultural point of view. There are plenty of plants to see and study. If you have never been I highly, as open access.

  • Entering through the gate on via Irnerio, you have to keep going through the small inner garden coming, next to the classrooms of the University, at the entrance of the garden. The orto botanico di Bologna is a magical place, in every season. A green area to be discovered in the city centre! Various types of plants from all over the world, a unique spectacle! I recommend it especially in spring, when the scents of flowers are at most (but beware of allergies!) and autumn in the period of the thousand colors of the leaves, but is gorgeous even in winter, with the snow. Admission is free, and if it didn't rain too, it's easy to access for people in wheelchairs or with those babies. The only drawback is that sometimes the gardeners are doing works or pruning trees, so some parts will be inaccessible, but proceeding down, up to the city walls, we don't notice anything, affected by the feeling of being in nature.
