  • I confirm that no car to get there not be more comfortable, but the Museum is worth a visit. I went there by taking advantage of a guided tour, but I think to come back because it is very interesting. From silk processing, real industry before its time or proto industry as defined by the Guide, to the industrial revolution, modern industry, the bolognese company is described simply, but with clarity; also you can know the origins of historical Bologna Aldini-Valeriani, schools like the real hotbed of technicians required at that time worldwide. Highly recommended to Balfour and not.

  • The Museum is located inside the former Brickyard Gallotti restored by the municipality of Bologna in the mid 80 's. It is located near the Canale Navile along Via Beverara reached easily by car or using a bus route that has stops limitrofamente. You need several hours to visit the Museum and not simply one afternoon, given the amount of craft, industrial machinery or merely in the form of interoperable models from there, are in place. The visit takes place chronologically starting from the second floor which can be reached by lift and down towards the floor. It is on the second floor that explains well the task that originated the artifact VEIL BOLOGNESE through an ingenious exploitation of so many channels that attrversano the city underground. Bologna was the world's capital for decades and only with the beginning of industrialization lost the characteristic preeminent, but implemented other who took inspiration from mechanical innovations and ideas always fervent in the minds of its citizens, so the industries were molded case and cycles and motorbikes. There were dozens of companies at work since the early ' 900, and some even today, are known worldwide for its exclusive business capabilities of Bologna. This museum deserves several other of my visits because I missed watching rapturously historical reconstructions of the events and products implemented by jumping cleanly through the entire first floor and one on the ground saw only in passing. I recommend it to all adults and children because different laboratories and classrooms will take place throughout the year with the help of historical guides and illustrations.

  • Bologna is the small medium industries, is the packaging, is the automotive industry in this museum you can see, in concrete terms, from where all this started. There is the story, distant and recent, of the Bologna production, you can see through authentic machines that you operate or through video, what did many ' concrete ' creatives who had an idea and they built it. Fascinating the place that houses this Museum for adults and children (which are really interesting Labs), an old furnace redeveloped and re-built in a masterly way. Who is from Bologna must visit this Museum, who is in Bologna as tourists cannot miss this opportunity.
