A collection of machines and inventions! From the stack by Alessandro Volta to tortellini from Bologna, Ducati in its history as a city of water and silk astronomy section. A museum that tells the city over the years, technological inventions including packaging explained and with the possibility to operate them! Unfortunately the Museum is not well known but is just 15 minutes from the city centre. A revelation, not to be missed!

Excellent museum that preserves testimonies and reconstructions of the glorious history of the city of bologna. Wonderful the mechanical tessitoio and wheel operation scale reconstruction of the watermills bolognesi, witness of an era when Bologna was criss-crossed with canals and teacher in the processing of silk that was then sold throughout Europe. Once worked, it was delivered through a system of canals, still visible outside the Museum, until Little, from where he could be reached the port of Venice, the gateway to the whole of Europe.

Beautiful Museum on the outskirts of Bologna, where is told the history economic-productive the Bologna area from the 15th century to the present. Started with the archival collection and models coming from technical schools Aldini Valeriani has grown up to be placed in the restored brick kiln Jailbirds. A wealth of machinery, equipment, models, models placed beautifully in the context of industrial furnace, where even the decommissioned large annular kiln Hoffman becomes exhibition. A full immersion in the industrial heritage of a beautiful city that is not just, as they say, the learned and The fat!

  • Large collection of machinery, instruments and products of emiliana divided into thematic sections. Located in a former industrial building (an earthen furnace) a stone's throw from a canal and a lock control building. Off the beaten path, but worth it
