  • Really nice Museum housed in a historic building with arches, frescos and a statue in the garden. There is both the part dedicated to the Etruscans with reference also to the city of Bologna and its surrounding areas, the middle ages and at the time of Egyptian with really many objects also restored. Low prices and the first Sunday of every month is free.

  • Beautiful museum that offers an extensive scenario of history. Upstairs are exhibits of the middle ages found in bologna and province but also objects found in Europe. Are exposed then gorgeous statues musee and Neptune. Downstairs are exposed objects and egizei sarcophagi well-preserved. Many Museum rich in history and past. Very very interesting.

  • A good Museum, with an exhibition of mummies, telling a little of the history of civilization that lived in the city and surrounding area thousands of years ago.

  • Well worth stopping in to see. The exhibits are stunning and well put together. Bologna was surprisingly good for museums.
  • Wonderful collection. Only disadvantage is that there are no benches, after many hours walking around it would be good to sit down for a while and process all the information. Exhibit is somewhat sparsely documented, but equally in English as Italian.
  • What a disappointment. only the Naples Archeologial Museum is as badly organized and marked as this.
  • i had a lot of very interesting information in this museum
  • Really nice several permanent exhibitions but especially splendid one dedicated to the Egyptians. Traces the history of the Bologna area through the many and beautiful exhibits. A lot of good facility. Absolutely worth visiting.
