  • Some beautiful rooms, with instruments, portraits, writings. The audio tour is a must because every comment is supplemented with a piece of music, great.

  • Bologna played an important role in the history of music, especially between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries when it was frequented by Mozart and Rossini but also saw the presence of the musicologist Giovan Battista Martini, little-known but important figure, whose huge collection of books and sheet music is still preserved in Bologna. The Museum is certainly interesting, given the relative rarity of the genre; However it develops into a limited number of rooms and exhibits (sheet music, instruments, portraits and more) fine but not exterminated. For the non-expert visitor can get some interest but maybe not.

  • We went on this visit with musician friends and you can't fail to notice that lack substantial pieces of history, which is the newest one, from the early ' 900, with all the main tools that have marked the evolution of music, from jazz to soul to reggae. There are neither saxophones percussion. It seems to me very limited as a journey in music history.

  • The most comfortable place for studying
  • Wonderful collection of manuscripts and first editions, beautiful instruments and famous portraits of composers. The audio guide is really exceptional and rounds out the experience.
  • The Museum is interesting but the overviews are lovely. Ben prganizzate and with good acoustics.
