  • Blissful experience is an underestimation. I went there with my family and friends and enjoyed every minute of it. The stroll alongside nature was purely magical. I recommend Giardini Margerita to eve...  more »
  • On our first day in Bologna I and my brother went for a run. We went from the hotel to the Park, which is beautiful. The autumn weather was fully printed on color of the trees, yellow and red.

  • When you stay at Bologna, we'll necessarily walk at least once to the gardens of Marguerite, the largest public park of Bologna, close to the city center. One of the entries, you will see a large equestrian statue of the King Victor Emmanuel. You can walk on the lawns. This Park is frequented by youth and families. A lot of benches for sitting, the aisles to move, a few booths to drink for drink and public fountains to splash when it's hot (apparently drinking water but I have not tried). A lake in the middle of the park but it seemed it was polluted. Many turtles that swim in this foul water. They may be waiting to give them to eat. In addition, I had the impression (but I am not an expert) that it was American turtles (those who eat the turtles from us). A cottage-bar near the Lake but the tables under the Pergola are in a deplorable state. Too many pigeons! Aging structure. Otherwise, nothing exceptional in the garden. Few flowers. On the other hand, a true haven for crickets in the summer. And what a noise! You knock him out by the chirping of crickets! Migraine flee. So, all in all, a rather nice walk but nothing exceptional and above all, more cleanliness and maintenance would not adversely the image of this lovely Park.

  • A big green heart in the town really simple to reach by walk or public transport. The colours of the nature make this place a big resource for the city and its citizens.
  • Lovely big spacious park with lots of big shady trees if it's to hot. Plenty of things for all the family here from kids play areas to the lake and cafes, and especially the Vetro cafe/bar with its great food and drink
  • Best park in town. It is a great green area, with space for children to play, people to relax, to play basketball, to walk around, etc
  • This is the second most beautiful public parc in Bologna, after Parco di Villa Ghigi
  • When I was living in Bologna we used to spend our sunny days and summer nights in this park which has a wide grass area and some terraces. During my last trip I could enjoy a live concert while taking a juice in this beautiful new terrace which has a green house in it and many social area to be used. Just take a look!
