A nice Museum too little frequented. (Fortunately for me but dangerous in these times of budgetary restrictions on culture in Italy). An effort to make a booklet in french by room. That's why we forgive them a ticket office closed upon arrival at 10:40. Time indicated was nine and finally I got my ticket at 11: 00. Maybe a break? But no indication to prevent. Included in the bologna card.

Very interesting but little known Museum located on the second floor of the Town Hall has several rooms with furniture of the 18th and 19th centuries and paintings ranging from the 13th until the 20th century, to appreciate the frescoes in the rooms and in the gallery dedicated to the works of Donato Creti, besides the works of Pelagio Palagi which are dedicated two halls, up to the "boschereccia" room where the frescoed walls will give the impression of space by nature. I think the time spent walking along the twenty or more salt is well spent and make understandable part of the social life of the period in this city.

  • Nice museum, worth popping by
  • A real museum of art from the door to the celing
  • Beautiful collection.
  • Little known, little visited, but the artwork and the rooms (some with exceptional quality and elegance) hosting them are worth a visit. From the Windows of the building you can admire beautiful views of the city centre.

  • One of the buildings located in the heart of Bologna's old town, around the Piazza Maggiore is the Palazzo Comunale of the City Hall. As papal delegate was used. Inside the Chapel, to describe the Majesty of the Church at that time, and various works of art exhibited the has elaborate interior decoration.
