  • She doesn't look like much from outside but nothing that for the statues of the death of christ on the right worth of school.

  • First I was lucky enough to visit this church and see a recital on the organ. Wonderful experience. Climb the tower is another activity not to be missed. Spiral stairs, with the original construction. usually just one person. At the end the view of the city of Bologna is amazing and still worth ringing the Bell.

  • St. Peter is a bit like a lady that daily encounters that sometimes forget to devote a greeting. Then you come in and you realize, especially at certain times of the day, which is a lady to whom you owe your food fantastic service ... You'd think anything special, but especially at certain times of the day, and at certain times of the week, we rediscover the believer, even if you think you're not. The dome and the floors are a masterpiece, but what more do you "catch" is precisely the atmosphere!! The Latin mass on Sunday morning that brings you back in time, the chorus generously spirited, and someone playing informally the organ, but competently. Then on Saturday, wait for approaching dusk to ascend in the double Bell Tower (which oscillates 15 cm when they are played on the bells) and see the show in Bologna from above. No doubt about it, I love it! And you learn things about how to ring the bells in Bologna (double) that heavy, are rotated by 360 degrees because they produce their sound ... On special occasions. But let us tell all by volunteers that on belltower await ...

  • Very popular and beautiful catholic church in Bologna. Very glad I stopped to admire and take a closer look at this building.
  • At places offering a good birds' eye view of Bologna, two buildings stand out: the San Petronio, and this Cattedrale Metropolitana di San Pietro. Huge.
  • Incredible church, I was so lucky to unexpectedly find an organ concert when I entered just now: made me disconnect from everything else!
  • Really interesting. Especially the crypt.
  • A much more modern cathedral than most, with stunning marble work on the floors. Worth swinging in to see on your way to the main cathedral.
