  • Not only between James is sanctified in this small plot of land, but anyone entering into the mystery of the sanctuary to meet! Always switch off mobile phones and stay a few minutes before the incorrupt body of blessed James to hear the Highest good Lord with all his creatures! Good prayer to all!

  • Beautiful sanctuary, well kept and organized. Amazing conservation status of blessed James, especially for those who believe, for a moment of meditation epreghiera

  • Blessed Giacomo Varingez, a native of Illyria, Franciscan Friar strongly linked to the history of this country for so many miracles. Some are the stick of blessed James that he planted in the ground and turned into tree, or that of the finger that, in April during the feast in honor of the blessed, is carried in procession. Legend has it that a woman removed her finger and tried to take it away from the convent, but in an effort to move away from the sanctuary, nature unleashed in a storm so the woman repented, and explained everything to the Franciscan friars. Inside the sanctuary you can admire the remains of blessed James, preserved beautifully to be after all these centuries. In December in the convent is the Nativity scene, unique and fascinating spectacle where people dress up as appearing with three kings parade down 6 January. We would have much more to say but at this point, I invite you to go there in person.
