  • Every time I go to Bakr, a visit to the blessed James is mandatory. Sanctuary within walking distance from the village centre, perfectly maintained, inside the church you can admire the relics of blessed (perfectly preserved) in the kiosk is also a small Grotto dedicated to our Lady of Lourdes and if you are lucky there is the possibility to visit a small Museum (every year takes place the Nativity scene). Outside a small but cute gift shop and ample free parking.

  • The Church and monastery are two magnificent facilities offering the faithful and also to visitors a moment of reflection which hushed the shouting only echoes of those who go there to pray. The atmosphere is gathered, the Dim light. In the side chapel dedicated to the blessed, where lie the remains of the monk, if you can, there is even more a mystical atmosphere and great devotion. The grounds of the convent, they, too, are open to the public and at Christmas, the same convent worth visiting the Nativity scene.

  • A beautiful place surrounded by silence and prayer ... Don't miss to visit the Nativity opened on the night of December 24 which continues with days and visiting hours until Epiphany
