  • The Cathedral of Bisceglie was founded in 1073 and completed in 1295. It is in Romanesque style and dedicated to Saint Peter. The Interior, in the 1970s, has been restored to its former glory by removing all Baroque superstructures. Inside you can admire a walnut choir stalls from the Benedictine Abbey of s. Maria dei Miracoli in Andria. It represents the history of the Benedictine order from its origins in the late Middle Ages. It can be reached along the narrow streets that rise from the harbor and the vision of the Cathedral is of great emotional impact. Please refer to the official websites for a more detailed description. A place to visit without delay.
