  • I'd heard of Bevagna because of Steve McCurry, who had photographed a local girl. Intrigued, I decided with my wife to go for a ride. We were completely overwhelmed by the atmosphere that is breathed. Not only for the re-enactment of the historical period, but also for food (wonderful to eat in the manner of the time). As luck would have it the temperature were sweet. Highly recommended, even families with children.

  • A real blast from the past. 10 days of taverns, inns, music, market and ancient crafts through the Umbrian town that has the most beautiful medieval town square in Italy. You walk among people in costume for historical old town wards 4 Gaite, Roman municipality. San Giovanni, San Giorgio, San Pietro and Santa Maria delle Gaite names. This year he won the palio final the Gaita San Pietro, but culinary competitions were all excellent. So in June each year an experience not to be missed among the great traditional Italian events

  • Very interesting visit, including the subservient attitude dandy napoletano (my countryman, incidentally) that even The Anabasis by Xenophon, Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, Virgil's Aeneid, the ancient Egyptian book of the dead and the epic of Gilgamesh, probably inspired by the middle ages. For goodness sake, mess around huh! Let's say a very experienced guide of ancient things, much less those concerning tax collection in contemporary times. Go there: reconstructions and vintage objects, more or less, maganedisa, also the explanation-worth the few euros for the ticket.
