  • The Tower of the fallen has remained a monument closed for many years, but since 24 August 2015 Bergamo Foundation in history opened to the public an enriching Museum that, floor by floor, shows the evolution of Bergamo during the period when it was created the modern "Piacentinian Center". Layered over 6 floors (unfortunately no lift), the narrative of the 20th century culminating, on the top floor, a rooftop terrace suspended between the upper town and lower town, which offers views of sunsets. On the first floor you can also consult a database of victims of World War I, very important tool to keep alive a memory not only made by the big names studied by everyone in school books, but by names as big that here, at last, have their own little revenge.

  • It was an interesting story from the wars which was told through the Tower floors. Soups views from the top of the tower above the new part of the city and the front of the Città Alta.

  • Perhaps what makes highlight to the tower is its location overlooking the city high behind his back, otherwise if you're just in time will find best monuments in the high city itself.

  • A view at 360 degrees for Bergamo, from the Summit one can admire Bergamo alta, Bergamo bassa, the surrounding hills. The Museum inside the tower is dedicated to the first world war and the cost of entry is equal to €3. It is worth.

  • Very symbolic of the Città bassa

  • Monument of fascist propaganda rhetoric Piacentini tied to to celebrate the victory in the war is finally became one of the most beloved symbols of the lower town. Recently reopened to visitors does not contain things of great importance but offers a nice vantage point.
