  • The chapel of Santa Croce is quite hidden and little noticed, but very well preserved, at least externally. Pity not to visit even within

  • A real gripe is not able to access inside this "Temple" of Romanesque architecture already given in the Rotunda of San Tomé in Almenno that however it was possible to visit. We paused an hour to rest sitting on the stone wall that borders the property and passing tourists were very many.

  • Is seen from the part rear of the Chapel, to the go to the Museum Donizzetti, and is very nice. A pity that you can not visit. Viewed through a fence.

  • Anyone know what it is? But I feel like it's a hidden Jem.
  • Little gem of Lombard Romanesque architecture with a circular plan virtually intact. Very reminiscent of the Temple of s. Tome also in province of Bg. recently I was able to visit the Interior which consists of a classroom discussion with frescoes on two registers. The bottom of the ' 500 tells the legend of the discovery of the Holy Cross 4 lunettes. The upper one of 800 represents symbols of the 4 Evangelists with 4 church fathers and liturgical symbols with angels. Finally in the dome a glory of God the father in heaven.

  • In fine weather, make sure to watch around the tower.
