Twice I wanted to visit but the upper town was fortified door (Sundays, often there are races and close streets) this time I did it. Arrived at the terminal of the upper town with the bus there is a little climb, then cross the street and you're faced with quite a lot of stairs to get to the Botanical Garden. There were people on call, some of them also gave some insight to the guys around (and I have pointed ears), to turn it better suited a stick and closed shoes suitable (I slipped), fantastic lookout point in the city, nice pond with water lilies, some rare species of plants I've never seen. It is particularly suitable on a hot day, the place is certainly suggestive but but ... But after so much effort have been disappointed (about ten minutes up the Hill and son arrived breathless).

You have to clinb a little from where the bus or funicular leaves you (opposite direction from the Cathedral) but is very green and the view from the top is spectacular. The access is free.  more »

  • Un posto poco conosciuto ma consiglio di farci un giro; trovate una grande varieta di piante in un'ambientazione piccola ma ben tenuta... splendida la vista su Città Alta...ingresso gratuito. This Botanical Garden is a place little known but suggest a ride ; find a large variety of plants in a setting small but well kept ... beautiful view of the Upper Town ... free admission!
  • It's small but interesting.
  • A pleasant discovery, a quiet corner in the upper town, perfect for a stroll with a goal difference that for a tourist visit. Free admission. You can enjoy a wonderful view surrounded by nature in a very special place!

  • Very difficult to access for tourists. If I'm not mistaken. It is located in ZTL (limited traffic area)

  • Magic place of tranquility with thousands of flowers and plants. Nice view over the city and the valleys especially seen through the colors of the flowers and plants of spring.
