  • A hidden gem, an ancient cloister, invisible from the outside, little known, now incorporated into a bank. in the Bank has restored and made accessible freely each first Sunday of the month, providing a guide for a guided tour (15 minutes duration). It houses some modern sculptures. Strong one that reflects the cloister itself overthrown, donating charm to all (the contemporary reflecting and makes the old glow). Beautiful also the other sculptures. Not to be missed

  • Access is tucked away in a shopping arcade and branches of the Banca Popolare di Bergamo which replaced the earlier Church of Santa Marta; the cloister is all that remains of the old resorts (convent of Dominican Sisters), restored in the 1930s and in the 1990s and now used as a venue for exhibitions. Outside of these occasions is usually open to the public the first Sunday of the month with free entrance. Permanent works are the cardinal sitting of Manzu, the sisters who communicate by Aaa and a monolith carved Indian artist Kapoor mirror reflecting the colonnades of the cloister as a mirror, flipping the image. Although he was born in Bergamo took me 58 years to discover this historic corner thanks to the sensitivity and curiosity that animate my friends. An opportunity to enrich their baggage and to praise those who financed the restoration by returning us all a piece of our past.

  • Beautiful cloister, in the Center, visible under the arcades of the torre dei caduti di Piacenza, evenings and even more engaging with soft lighting. It is a small historic gem. Recommend a look, even fast.
