  • It's free to visit this church and it's absolutely worth it. The decorations ar really beautiful and even I appreciated them- and I'm not the biggest fan of visiting churches.
  • Charming building facing, in part, on piazza Duomo, certainly one of the most evocative and engaging artistic and historical sites of Lombardy. The basilica appears very articulated with the splendid move outside porch by Giovanni da Campione which seems right on the square. Beautiful also the apses and picturesque the glimpse on the fifteenth-century bell tower. The Interior impresses with decorative richness and stratification of styles. I will just mention the wonderful Tuscan tapestries of late 16th century and the Dutch of the Crucifixion that dates back to 1698. The head of the transept there is a beautiful life tree of 1347. The rich decoration of the vaults.
