  • Piovviginosa evening, with fog, walking through the streets of Berceto, and stumble across this beautiful church entirely hewn, with a façade, whose façade made a hut, right on via "Francigena", seems to relive the past. The Interior is simple, but very special. Recommend to visit Berceto, among its narrow streets and roads remained as centuries ago.

  • The village of Berceto seems born with the Romans ... before even with the Ligurian ... Lombard historian p. Deacon certifies that the King Liutprando, as thanks to God x victories over the enemies, he built several churches including the "Monastery called Berceto". The Cathedral is impressive and harmonious, its origin dates back to the eighth century. as a monastery, then elevated to Cathedral and in 1985 performs the consolidation and restoration that returned the Church strength and splendor, while carrying signs harmonic integration: Lombard, Romanesque and Renaissance. Interesting the Bell placed on a pedestal between the first and second chapel and an important historic significance. His birth dates from 1497, at the conclusion of the Renaissance and is dedicated to some Saints and the customer count Bertrando Rossi. In the Hall of Saint Apollonia, beside the Church, houses an interesting Museum of the treasure of the Church, beautiful and very interesting. This dome is very nice and interesting to visit, for me it was a real treat!
