  • Unfortunately there is not much to see of what was this Roman city, and then with much imagination you must first see the panels in the Museum of Bene Vagienna figuring out how it was organized the town during its heyday. The remains of the theater are most noticeable while basilica and Amphitheater have almost nothing, unfortunately.

  • I left a secondary parking, in front of a little church very pretty. There there was the Billboard that says "start archaeological route"; to me it seemed only one road into fields but I ventured the same. Halfway there was a billboard explaining something that though there was, I looked around and there was no ruins or artifacts or other. Continuation under the Sun (don't do it in the middle of summer or else you die on the street) until arrival at the beginning of a wooden boardwalk with fence. There in theory there was something to behold, covered by a tarp and the explanatory poster was knocked down. At the end of the runway there was finally the archaeological site itself, with the remains of the amphitheatre and the basilica. Here everything is already more polished and beautiful to see, even with a great view over Monviso. The 4 dots are for this part, the rest you may as well not do, unless you want to walk unnecessarily for fields. There is also to say that the whole thing is free, maybe there would be charges more to visit, but I'm fine with the free.

  • Want to walk between the Roman remains of 28 BC? This is a good opportunity to be outdoors. Be careful though because the most significant pieces are on display at the Museum in the country. Here you will see the theatre, the amphitheatre, the temple, the Forum and the foundations of the Christian basilica. All exhibits ground level or so. Free admission.
