  • The dome of Belluno is striking for the variety of heterogeneous elements, shapes and materials, but nevertheless in harmony. The beautiful stone façade remained unfinished, while going back to the early 16th century is of Romanesque Gothic Lancet Windows, picked up two beautiful clear imprint and a rich baroque portal, and is surmounted by a large pediment (perhaps the less in tune). The belfry then, built between 1732 and 1747, is the most Baroque imaginable, since it was designed by one of its greatest exponents, Filippo Juvarra, while the Angel on the windshield is by Andrea Brustolon, another great artist in that style. The Interior light and spacious aisles, Renaissance houses valuable paintings, including the 15th-century polyptych of particular interest on the altar of the crypt.

  • The Cathedral of San Martino of the Alpine town of Belluno is certainly worth visiting during a tourist visit. Too bad not being able to climb the campanile next door.

  • The Cathedral of San Martino-the main attraction of the city. It is located at P'jace. It was built in the year 1517. Outside the Cathedral, not anything special. Is that a 70 meter high tower with a wooden Angel. Inside you can see paintings of famous Italian artists Cesare Vechchelio, Andrea Schiavone, Jacopo da Ponte.

  • The place that is ALWAYS shown whenever you see adverts for Florence. Walking up to the top of the dome is extremely hard. You need to be fit. My wife is scared of heights but managed it and to this day is glad she kept on going.
  • Beautiful Cathedral, very impressive
