  • Making a stretch of the so-called Alta via Dei Silenzi (n° 6), starting point in Comelico Sappada, about 1200 meters, and crosses to the wooded Digola pass away, then losing a lot of odds to get off at the entrance to the Val Frison, which follows the stream of the same name, between the high walls of the Dolomites. Climb the Valley down the street almost stock, but closed from 1966 (great flood), with views of other countries of the Comelico across the Valley. The Valley culminates in Lavardet Fork, which forms the border between the Bellunese and Friuli, and the road turns into dirt track. Without reaching the fork Lavardet, the track follows a trail right to malga Campo, pastoral setting, which goes for about two hours to the shelter Lieutenant Smith, 1800 mt, in Cima Campigotto, between larch forests. The hut can be reached by car on the street uncrowded dairy rocket, is open all year, is small but cozy, spartan, but with rooms with bath and shower and especially super kitchen. The morning after departure, crossing the pass Summit Campigotto you lose altitude following the curves of the pass until turning left for malga Hotel Dona. Here you climb between Woods and stream up to 1900 metres altitude, in beautiful pastoral environment and grassland, with eyes on the three peaks in the distance and closer, Antelao. From malga Hotel Dona continue leaving left the beautiful lawn with views of the sheep, dairy, and then you begin the long descent to the Cadore through dense woodland, but well marked, then dirt track impassable in some stretches for the slope, gradually easier, you will encounter few casere restored and many barns, where the road becomes almost a stock has now over Laggio di Cadore , and in Packaging or in Vigo we can conclude the tour. This round involves part of the Alta Via number 6, and two stages of the new "way of the Dolomites", a circular route along the entire province of Belluno. No climbing, but two stages the first commitment of 8:00. and 30, the second of 7:00. and 30, with large differences in height. You don't come across almost none, sometimes biking, certainly not the Dolomites, but there is the honor she great peace and the path of the landscapes. It requires a lot of training and at least good hiking shoes.

  • Although we were in a season not ideal for trekking and walking, we and our girls were totally fascinated by beautiful views met!! Very detailed maps also allow beginners to move in complete freedom and autonomy!

  • Made by the 18 July 28, 2016. The course is challenging but the wonderful places to fully repay the effort. Well served by shelters and support points allows wanting to "retire" at each stop if you have any problems along the way. I highly recommend mountain lovers.
