  • Only a few steps from the beloved wooden bridge, in a basement almost hidden to keep its beauty! discovered thanks to school visits has impressed a pleasant memory. It's small but there are enough memorabilia, photo papers to keep alive the memory of those who made history!

  • This museum is almost "hidden" in a bar at one end of the wooden bridge, yet packs a great deal of historical artifacts related to the history of Italy of the ' 900. Admission is only 1.5 euro incl audioguide and is on two levels: display memorabilia, uniforms, equipment and weapons of the body of the Alpini, richly illustrated by the comment of the audioguide. The layout is nicely done: in addition to the usual display cases there are niches and areas in which they have been reconstructed living environments of the Alpine troops at war (trenches, blockhouses). It was a very pleasant discovery to find a story so well looked after-the only minor flaw is that access is only possible through the bar: hosts can be occupied with table service and you may have to wait a few minutes before the ticket. Overall, a must see for anyone who spends in Bassano del Grappa-and also easy: the museum visit in 45-60 minutes and are available to allow wheelchair access.

  • 1.50 euro (audioguide included), 30-40 minutes. It's worth a spin, some history never hurts!

  • One of must see in Alpini.
  • Attached to the famous "wooden bridge", the Museo degli Alpini is a must not only for tourists but also for those who live around Bassano and who decide to spend a few hours in the middle of spectacular town along the Brenta. The Museum is small in size but big in the role that plays, a collection of artifacts from the first world war, most of which ended up on the plateau of Asiago, survived through specific excavations or for private donations. A special place where the special relationship between the body of the Alpini and the city of Bassano del Grappa (and locals) it exemplifies and takes shape.

  • Nestled in a stunning setting, you can look out on the wooden deck, the scene of many battles, and taste authentic grappa from bassano historic distilleries.

  • A piece of our history, it's probably one of the most unusual bridges of our beautiful country with all historical meanings and not that we want to give it ... Impossible once you get here not "shake hands" to our beloved ... and why not give her a basin of love. "...

  • Nice Museum, to visit at least once in their lifetime.
