  • The countries around the Lake lago di Barrea (Barrea, Villetta Barrea and Civitella Alfedena) were a pleasant surprise. Ideal for those who want to spend a vacation surrounded by nature and discover ancient villages. The Lake has several places where you can get wet and there are also some areas with playground. Till sunset views of the Lake from the village of Barrea is truly spectacular!

  • , Cold water in summer but worth getting a bath in such clear waters. The water touches the trees of small beach called "the Gravara where there is the restaurant you can taste some Abruzzo specialities including the famous mutton skewers, dumplings to orapi (Orapi species of wild spinach) that grow in the mountains. Don't forget to enjoy a coffee at the bar 7 dwarves. The nature is all to live you can see wild boar, deer, squirrels, foxes and finally if you are lucky some bear and the King of the mountain or the Wolf marsicano.
