  • States sign posted on the front gate to the archeological site. Shame because on the official website of the Ministry of culture States that the site remains open both Sundays and public holidays. Too bad because it is being interesting exhibition about Hannibal in the dungeons of the castle of Barletta with exhibits from the louvre and the Bard. Shame about those tens of tourists every Sunday find themselves, some having hundreds of kilometers route, with a fistful of flies. Shame about the poor state of maintenance of access roads and directionality in deficit. Shame about Hannibal ... died twice. .

  • Disappointment because you cannot hold an archaeological site closed on holidays with an exhibition so important in Barletta. I did 1200 km between round trip and I could not visit the site. Certainly I could inform me before but still much disappointment

  • Place made of a thousand hidden treasures. Actually the Citadel is a medieval Angevin-aragonese era Castle, but you get the idea of what was in Roman and Norman.

  • Autogrill a bit old fashioned. Available to the unusual case and very functional. Staff at the bar just motivated. Coffee served at the counter in paper cups and plastic spatula, takeout without lid, there we are.
