  • A few days on vacation in Barletta, decided to go to visit the Archaeological Park after taking information at the website of mibact about opening hours and tickets. A wasted trip, because the Park is closed and that closure is not reported anywhere.

  • Finding ourselves in Barletta, in the places of the challenge, we planned a visit to the places of the epic battle between the Romans and Carthaginians in 216 BC. Fortunately, however, we asked about the point city information: we found out that the site is closed indefinitely because, as he explained to a lady, arrived of European funds which should serve to make the site more usable. By looking at the various sites, including the official one of the MiBACT, is not however no warning about a possible closure. If in doubt we didn't make it. Hopefully good ... in the sense that actually are coming to our sites!

  • To Canne della Battaglia is a nice site but it seems all too neglected and poor staffing. Should be decisively enhanced.

  • was an ancient city of Apulia, you enter for free, at least I've got a bike and the guy at the entrance to let me in, very polite and friendly. the place is nice to stroll through the streets of the canne della battaglia, between houses, churches and graves
