  • My cousin's wedding with my wife I was once again in this stupendous Basilica x since I'm a native of Bari. Located in the old town near the waterfront and the city's port is a must see x tourists visiting the city of Bari. Church from the beautiful ceilings and superb aisles, offers a crypt where the relics of the Saint. Feature of the site is the compromise of Catholic and Orthodox art; beautiful square in front of the Basilica. Certainly worth visiting!!!

  • At the Centre of the old town, is the heart of the old town and the city as a whole. It is the symbol of the city's culture and of the Saint most loved by baresi. is one of the greatest examples of Apulian Romanesque style that characterized the architectural production by that time. The façade is simple but impressive, bright thanks to the white stone. Inside, the size is impressive and push the faithful toward a total devotion to the greatness of God. There is a crypt with the remains of Saint Nicholas and the place is a relevant point of pilgrimage for Orthodox believers, devoted to the patron saint of Bari. Not to be missed.
