  • It is unthinkable to visit Bari without going through the city's true essence. It comes back almost to the middle ages. It is surrounded by the basilica of San Nicola, the Cathedral of San Sabino, from the sea and the Aragonese castle. The streets is so much nice people with whom you can talk and exchange some information. Ladies are that every morning preparing fresh pastas, available obviously by tourists. Super recommended.

  • The district that develops in front of the Basilica di San Nicola, and extends to the San Sabino Cathedral on one side and the other until the Aragonese Castle, the ancient heart of this city, it comes back in the middle ages, with houses on the road, the narrow alleys, shops, laundry, women who still live there all in the canodre of the local stone. Recently restarurato and reclaimed the neighborhood is a truly magical place.

  • Very beautiful place, don't forget to go downstairs to see the St.Nicolas icons
  • Ancient basilica. The crypt is where St. Nicholas' remains are. Every year they exude oil which is in turn placed in beautifully painted bottles and sold in the gift shop.
