  • Imposing structure dominating the entrance to the ancient village upon entering the Castle area. The Church shows a fascination of Byzantine style, as is the external facades is the interior decorations. Things to explain why a cathedral dedicated to the Patron Saint, has become less important than the well known St. Nicholas ... • We only were able to see the outside and it was night time, but it was very beautiful.
  • Well preserved, roman style.
  • The crypt is a total must see.
  • A must see if you visit Bari
  • The Cathedral has carved on the exterior walls the most charming Atlas of Romanesque sculpture. Monsters and animals, floral decorations. Rebuilt after demolition of 1156, its present appearance is the result of twentieth-century interventions. Deserves special mention in the nave floor decoration that recreates the rose window on the façade, the baroque crypt and the archaeological excavation that takes you back to Roman times and discover the largest mosaic of Bari
