  • Very worth a visit on the vineyard Cascina Albano: the production is very small, for the more familiar and friendly. The daughter has taken time over 1, 5 h for our group to perform a perfect tasting of all the wines (in very good English). The wines are of outstanding quality and very reasonably priced. The organisation of the tour was very simple (registration by mail). THANK YOU FOR VISITING GREAT AND FINE WINES!

  • Actually I should resist Yes this review me, so that the Azienda remains a well-kept secret – on the other hand, it would be totally eigensinning, and Elisabetta and Marco have earned it more than to gain fame! We had the most fantastic tasting ever and quite a few were so far... Despite invasion in the middle of the main harvest we experienced a warm welcome; to properly address grounding, took us Elisabetta directly in the vineyard, not saved with information and let us what it means to be winemakers. ORGANIC here is capitalized and the passion to do this you can taste at the latest at the first tasting drink! Thanks to (excuse the word) sulphur allergy, Marcos here get the best wines of the Piedmont in the (unfortunately far too few) bottles. What ultimately somewhat sad us, is that Barbera and freisa will disappear together with the wonderful labels for years in the basement - the greater will be the joy for the palate and eyes open. Until then, we will revel in memories - refreshed by the homepage - or again planning an early visit :-)

  • Cant put into words how much I loved my visit! Eli was simply amazing and gave the most interesting wine tour and tasting I have experienced. A true pleasure to have met her and her other half (Marco) the winemaker. The relaxing atmosphere truly made me feel at home. THANK YOU so much! Will of course return next time I'm in the area!!
  • Amazing views and fun atmosphere! The outstanding wines truly express the Langhe region and the passion of the winemakers. Eli & Marco will welcome you with open arms . Whether you are a connoisseur or new to wine there is something for everyone. Cascina Albano is one of a kind. Make sure to try the Perschers, a sparkling champenoise...very unique! Well worth a trip to Barbaresco, just don't forget to call ahead to book a tasting!
  • If you are willing to find a very peaceful and relaxing place then Cascina Albano is the place for you. The owners, Marco and Eli, are very friendly and they will do anything to make you feel at ease during your stay. Their passion for winemaking is noticeable since the very first taste of their wines such as Langhe Freisa, Dolcetto d'Alba, or even the amazing newcomer Roero Arnais aged in barriques. All the production is based on biodynamic threatments according to their environment protection mission. Come and visit them, you wont regret it!
  • I have just loved this cellar, wines are amazing! The owners will take you for a cellar tour and free tasting, explaining you all the history and tradition of winemaking in the region. Also, you can take advantage of the beautiful vineyards for a walk in the nature! I can't wait to go back to Alba region to visit them again.
  • A more than pleasant tasting, preceded by a tour through the vineyards that explains the philosophy of the company aimed at soil and care of the vines and the production of quality wines with grapes were healthy. Elizabeth and Mark's workmates and life, while I tasted the wines they told me the story of the birth of each label with a twinkle in his eyes, typical for people their innovative project fairs, made entirely from recycled materials, even the caps after their use are recycled! Cascina Albano is a true eco-friendly company that makes love with fragrant wines, stylish and clean, better than many more famous manufacturers, with exceptional value for money!! Recommend a visit to anyone who is Captain in the langhe in Piedmont or ... love of landscape, but especially of wines!
