  • For a dive into nature (casentino Forest Park): the short walk to the picnic, to enter for the trails of the Park (Mount Falterona and Campigna).

  • Nice indeed. I didn't and instead tour the dam proved to be a real bonus. The dam itself interesting enough to see and in addition with a quiet walk in the Woods in absolute silence you reach a refuge where you can have a snack with a tart made by them. The shelter can also eat and even sleep. The real treat was then the HYDRO Museum. We absolutely loved. Children have tried all small experiments that could be done, there is a model that shows the operation of the dam really nice and even a 3D movie on the dam and its very cute animals. I highly recommend this tour especially with children from 2nd grade onwards.

  • Today my husband, myself and our 1 year old son visited the dam. Accomplice maybe time a bit iffy there wasn't so many people and so we had no problems or take the shuttle or climb on the first boat available. The boat ride was pretty, I recommend it. Having the stroller we didn't venture to trails, also saw the strong wind that blew and the clouds a bit uncertain, but we were glad to do even a ride so quiet, watching the dam from above and eating tortillas at the bar. Beautiful scenery, towering dam. I was pleasantly surprised by the Museum: new, nice, clean, very interactive and interesting. Absolutely loved it. I shall repeat the tour when the infant will be bigger!
