  • entrance fee to see three empty rooms. The Villa must have been very pretty. It is a place that is appreciated more in photography that live. It is set in a modern context because surrounded by modern houses

  • We went to villa Palagonia thinking to find a magical place. Admission is 6 euros, you visit the main floor that could be interesting if it were clean and nicely restored, but it is not. The garden has statues of monsters on the outside wall is unwatchable high weeds a meter on the one hand, by other dry land, only the ground floor is inhabited and the threads of light and television hanging from the roof (where's the security?). Recommend to visit Villa Cattolica or other

  • The villa has unfortunately been abandoned, but still glimmers of her former glory we enchant. Retrottrarsi three hundred years and imagine these McMansions (there are still a dozen eighteenth century buildings in Bagheria), holiday-only just 10 km from Palermo. An aristocratic society and landowner, founded on land revenue in competition with each other. And so Villa Palagonia amazes us for the location, the salons in mirror and marble, a magnificent Baroque Echelon, the frescoes and sculptures adorning the bodies Netherlands surrounding the Palace. But the mob has vindicated: surrounded the villa with horrible postwar buildings, PVC Windows, the result of the lack of planning of municipal authorities.

  • If you are staying out in Bagheria it's worth a visit to this quirky and charming villa. The Gothic statues will for sure keep you mesmerized. The place is small though. For the entrance fee you only see a few rooms and the garden just around the perimeter. No your guide or audio either. Just you and some endearing statues. This place is great to break up the sights of ruins and churches. It certainly adds some levity and a new conversation.
  • Nice to see .... but far too expensive for what it is 6 euros for a 20 min visite , absolutely no care done --- wondering where the money is going
  • Fascinating example of the Sicilian Baroque style.
  • Unique and beautiful.
  • I visited the villa a few years ago, took the train from Palermo and walked all the way from the train station. I'll never forget the experience, it is still the quirkiest place in the world and an amazing experience. I do recommend anyone who has an opportunity to visit. I'd like very much to return to see it again.
