  • The villa where the Museum is really elegant and well kept, many of the works of Guttuso well set, very polite staff who pointed out everything that you could visit

  • A very interesting Museum, rich and complete on the artistic experience of Renato Guttuso placed inside a monumental structure that alone is worth the visit. Very interesting section on painting of the Sicilian cart to help you understand even better the works of Guttuso. A mention apart from the opera the shrine of Guttuso only sculpture by the artist.

  • A collection of important works by Renato Guttuso, it deserves. There are also beautiful artistic photos. Many other proposals are prevented by bureaucratic delays, missing many labels, there is a general sense of neglect: a shame ❗ ️ very nice the context that hosts the exhibition. Hopefully there is committed by those who should and that everything can be improved in future ❗ ️

  • Wonderful, impressive palace and exterior of the building. Guttusos includes paintings, prints, sculptures are very strong, and often personal. Also shows Guttuso's personal art works collection, and some bits of Sicilian must, like Giambecchina's. Take a good couple of hours to enjoy. Better during the day so can take daylight pics. Shocking the close cement factory just visible from many angles of the venue - very nice all together.
  • I visited this museum waiting to see some Gatusso pictures, video or so... But this is not the football player museum. LOL Even if this not football, you can find a great pieces of art, sculptures, and old furniture. The entry is a little bit expensive and you have to ask for the timetable. Or have a look to the website.
  • Beautiful.
  • One of the most beautiful villas and imposing of Sicily! This 18th century villa was built by the Prince of Cattolica Eraclea and 70 years following the donation of numerous works by the famous Sicilian painter Renato Guttuso in Bagheria, the municipality decided to transform this villa in one of the museums the most exciting and beautiful region! Visit is mandatory, there is preserved a piece of history of Sicily!

  • Villa charming pretty well maintained externally. Mammoth, gigantic and too visible degradation is right there next to it. A mega unused and crumbling rusty industrial structure. Too bad my giufizio is negative. Not worth the trip.
