  • Neo-classical architecture with a Greek cross plan, school of Vanvitelli. Baroque interior with canopy-similar to that of St. Peter with the twisted columns-powered by a pupil of Bernini. Santa Reparata is the patroness of Atri who holds the city and rescues her from the earthquake, as depicted in the fresco by Andrea de Litio in the Cathedral.

  • Where there were once the cyclopean walls, then the Temple of Hercules and then a domus and the Roman baths, built this church on 1350 and later transformed in the late Baroque building we see today. The Interior with Central symmetry is not particularly nice, looks pretty in some places a warehouse, but is used for mass. Peep does not hurt.

  • The Cathedral of Atri famous for the Holy door that every year with a religious ceremony accompanied by costume parade opens on 14/08 modest but very beautiful Cathedral.
