  • Fabulous work of architecture that is shining in the Centre of Asti. Over the Christmas period there is also a beautiful Nativity scene. To visit

  • A place of peace. Peace is the strongest feeling that is felt as you descend the stairs along the path of Passion. Then you enter the forecourt of the cave, similar to the Lourdes Grotto, dominated by a statue of the Virgin Mary, flanked by the source of holy water, from the small lake with the water mill and the statue of Bernadette kneeling. The garden begins just below. Here you can stop, in silence, to meditate and pray. Then you go down the stairs, or descending the strollers, and you leave the outside, going for the beautiful stone staircase which adorns the façade. Before entering the Church, are to be admired the beautiful mosaics on the sides and on the portals. Pope John Paul II was also here during his visit in Asti, and it was dedicated the mosaic can be seen from the outside. The Church was built at the beginning of ' 900, it is large and beautiful. Well worth a visit.

  • The National Rally Saturday night four Alpine choirs, Church full of people attentive to cante, Pastor sympathetic and as far as I've seen also available. Of course the acoustics is not that of a theatre but it is still acceptable although disturbed by the usual Jokers that there were outside. Thank you Don and viva gli Alpini!
