  • Huge this Festival of festivals. There are countless little houses of pro-site offering an incredible number of typical and not. Obviously you have to live with the chaos of people especially when the weather is good. Worth going there ...

  • If you speak of the parade on Sunday morning and spectacular are remembered scenes of peasant life of monferrato with incredible fidelity is one thing not to be missed if we speak of a gastronomic festival of festivals in recent years has lost considerable variety and now very few dishes of tradition because of the high costs imposed on Vernon and the city better go to some local restaurant and have an impeccable service

  • Are therefore eased in knowing the manifestation of Asti. I am sensitive to the peasant culture I come from and I appreciate both the cuisine, is the effort of the employees for making this event. The crowd is of course cheaper especially if the event coincides with acceptable weather conditions. If I hadn't of Asti, probably would use the train as the station is nearby and you avoid the problems with the Guide and the glasses too. What would improve? I'd put more seats or at least the support points, and even the waste bins. Also I would make a center speaker where you can buy vouchers for 50 cents or a dollar so as to spare staff for each stand for the cashier, and even security issues. Each plate would have a variable number of vouchers based on cost and also the wine of course. The center speaker will change to euros each participant with leftover unused tickets and the delegate of each participating municipality. In this way we wouldn't do the tail twice for each dish.

  • Unmissable event for lovers of Piedmontese cuisine and carnivals. Music good food and wine. The different countries of the province present their dishes, from porridge to fry. Each year more than 100,000 courses.

  • Festival special with fifty stands of various proloco offering their "warhorses": average prices (a few years ago were more cheaply with the complimentary glass of wine), but the portions are good and made at the time! There are so many people, but it's worth it!

  • Must try: 40 pro loco della provincia di Asti offer their delis, DOC wines of Asti (turns with the "classic glass neck" and each dish come "recharged" with a local wine). A sore point: a lot of people and parking difficulties.
