  • A party that is reminiscent of old times ... I recommend it to everyone at least once to visit, the best day for a tourist who has never been to Asti would be on Sunday with a plan to arrive in the city at about 9, see the parade of festivals where you live the country life and crafts now gone .... then you throw on piazza where you can eat from appetizer to dessert and drink good wine ... obviously We have to do a bit of code, but this is also part of the day in the afternoon to dispose of food and wine, a tour in the city centre

  • The Pro Loco della provincia di Asti produce characteristic stand in Piazza del Palio at Asti and feature typical dishes at low prices. Also worth seeing are the parade which recreates life time, arts and crafts of the postwar period.

  • You have to begin by saying that we need a lot of patience, because you see something unique. Find gathered on a huge square more than 40 pro-loco who cook their specialties is one thing, I think, don't get in other cities. During the second weekend of September hundreds of thousands of people are tasting piemontese cuisine (even dishes that no one in the family kitchen more). We must therefore resign themselves to do some code, but it's certainly worth it. Don't miss the parade of peasant civilization, Sunday morning, impressive and well taken care of in detail

  • Unmissable event for lovers of Piedmontese cuisine and carnivals. Music good food and wine. The different countries of the province present their dishes, from porridge to fry. Each year more than 100,000 courses.

  • Festival special with fifty stands of various proloco offering their "warhorses": average prices (a few years ago were more cheaply with the complimentary glass of wine), but the portions are good and made at the time! There are so many people, but it's worth it!

  • Must try: 40 pro loco della provincia di Asti offer their delis, DOC wines of Asti (turns with the "classic glass neck" and each dish come "recharged" with a local wine). A sore point: a lot of people and parking difficulties.
