The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Asti, is the main place of Catholic worship in the city. With 82 meters long and 24 in height and width is one of the largest churches of Piedmont. The façade has three rose Windows surmounted by two oculi and a window. Laterally, the Pelletta Portal presents in the angular statues of Saints, including Girolamo, Pietro, Paolo e Biagio, all dating from the late fifteenth century. • This is a beautiful Cathedral. What you notice inside the Cathedral are the high pillars that looms in the height. At the entrance was it sold candles.

  • It is the largest Cathedral in Piedmont and if you switch from Asti you can't visit. Almost always open, beautiful frescoes and beautiful exterior in the typical red and white combination of Asti. Surveying the side portal overlooking the square and the tower.
