  • Main route of crossing the country, piazza del comune San Francisco church. Very much shops many attractions. But it would have to do pedestrian only.

  • Coming out of the upper Church and pass on, you reach the piazza del Comune, through an unbroken sequence of small souvenirs, religious images and souvenirs, interspersed with some restaurant and bar. Follow it, you can see some interesting sights, such as the oratorio dei Pellegrini or source with the plaque above it (see photo) which prohibits the cloth in the same wash.

  • Definitely some of the best spaghetti including that amazing stuff roll. The tiramisu was amazing to be honest and the staff were beautifully sweet. Great option for food

  • Beautiful restaurant with great food at very affordable prices.
  • We went to Assisi on a very hot day. After walking around the beautiful town we found Buca di San Francesco. We saw a lot of pizza places but wanted a restaurant. We sat in the terrace and the server was very nice. It was hot so I just ordered the fantasie crostuni which for simple bread and toppings was incredible. After I had risotto with cheese. (Risotto quattro formaggi) amazing! My husband had a simple antipasto and fungi risotto. All was great. This is also off of the main streets so not as busy and didn't feel as touristy. I would go again.
