  • We went to Assisi on a very hot day. After walking around the beautiful town we found Buca di San Francesco. We saw a lot of pizza places but wanted a restaurant. We sat in the terrace and the server was very nice. It was hot so I just ordered the fantasie crostuni which for simple bread and toppings was incredible. After I had risotto with cheese. (Risotto quattro formaggi) amazing! My husband had a simple antipasto and fungi risotto. All was great. This is also off of the main streets so not as busy and didn't feel as touristy. I would go again.
  • Food was nice until we got an overpriced microwave heated potatos.
  • Fantastic food, beautiful garden, reasonable, perfect for a classy sit-down Italian meal. Good recommendations, try the cappellacci!
  • Wonderful dinner at reasonable price. Very friendly staff
  • The food was not bad. I liked tuna roe salad and vin santo as a desert. Good service. Nice terrace. Authentic
