  • Civic Plaza located in the heart of the city, on the East side has a lovely fountain, there's tourist information Office on the West side. This Plaza has outdoor cafes, relax while soaking up the sunshine and was of add-on facilities necessary for sightseeing, such as souvenir shops and restaurants in the area.

  • Very nice square in the heart of the historical centre of Assisi. Unique and very impressive especially in the evening. Rock of historical buildings and alleys that connect to the text of the historic centre. Beautiful!!

  • This place is wonderful in the warmer weather. It really buzzes with excitement. The tourists seem to enjoy sitting outside. Unfortunately the bars etc have to remove the chairs in the winter and the place looks very bare and univiting. .
  • The piazza is another one of umbria's many but next to it is the house of saint. Fransisca the founder of the order and this is highly recomanded to visit
  • on a nice day just grab a gelato, sit back and enjoy watching
  • It's a steep, but worth it walk up to the Piazza. The Temple of Minerva was interesting, a Roman temple repurposed as a church.
  • After a day of sightseeing in Assisi you need to sit on a bench at this piazza. You'll love it. It's great for people watching. And when you're finished people watching, you head for the bar, accross the Minerva Temple, for some delicious icecream. Biscotti is a great choice :-)
