  • This little shop in the piazza del Comune in Assisi was a wonderful surprise. Within very small but full of goodies, we took a lunch break with sandwiches to pork. The holder and the contract are very friendly and funny. Try it definitely

  • Impressed with all the delicacies and spurred on by friendly girl at the counter stopped for a "torta al testo" with pork lonzetto and caciotta. Excellent freshly prepared with ingredients of the highest quality. Recommended stop!

  • Spent 5 days in Assisi and on our first night found this shop. A great cheese and cured meats platter was prepared and great wines. We return for another evening. Fabrizzio is an excellent host with lots to offer.
  • Long ago when I studied in Assisi, Fabrizzio would make me the most beautiful caprese panini for lunch, and I would sit and eat it on the steps of the Minerva Temple. If you travel to Assisi, you absolutely must stop here and bring home some of his own olive oil, at the very least. I remember Fabrizzio and his store fondly :)
  • Fabrizio is the best! And the Olio Dei Oliva (did I spell that correctly?) is perfect!
  • authentic Umbrian delights. loved the torta de testa... regret not buying their porcini paste delicious
  • Great place solved the problem with a yummy gluten free sandwich. Utmost care in making the sandwich.
