  • Well worth a trip to enjoy the splendour and ruggedness of the Gran Sasso Mountains. Be wary of weather conditions as they can change a moments notice
  • Skiing at campo imperatore is equivalent to skiing in the Alps, undoubtedly the snow is great and always in good condition even with scirocco where elsewhere you can ski on the water. Only con! Catering services and tobacco are void almost non-existent they could do much better and would be 5 stars!

  • For mountain lovers can visit Campo Imperatore! A vast plain situated in the heart of Abruzzo, about 1800-1900 meters above sea level. In the summer you can make beautiful walks in a wonderful environment. Winter is one of the few places of the Apennines never lets go for snow; is well suited for lovers of skiing.

  • Fantastic place but the years has worn out the place
  • Very cool to visit in the summer. Beautiful drive up the mountain!!)
  • Outstanding value, great food, location absolutely unique but the best of all are the people in charge of the hotel who are simply amazing: So kind, so helpful, always hard working and 200% committed !!!! I give this unbelievable hotel 5 stars... become I cannot give more !!!!
  • Rooms are clean. In Feb it was 35euro, in May only 15. I was skeptical of paying 20euro for dinner alone, but one time after having climbed nearby Corno Grande, I was desperately hungry. Dinner was great- half a bottle of wine and first and second courses, which were both amazing. Overall this place is great- down to earth staff, reasonable pricing and of course great proximity to the gran sasso range. Buy a ticket for the cable car (funivia) up the plateau or if you have the time and energy, hike the trail.
  • bello!
