  • Whist the title tells exactly what this is there is more to see. If you stay on the city side of the bridge and walk along the wall above the river the views are fabulous, then a little further not th...  more »
  • This historic Port of Ascoli Piceno is famous for a variety of reasons. One, is the door that separates the entrance to the city from the district that is devoted the adage that I entered in the title. Two, the door you can enjoy a view of the river Tronto that deserves to be seen. Three, the bridge connecting the port to the city is built and from Roman times, although in the two decades skilfully restored and for the lucky ones who manage to be accompanied, it offers the possibility of a visit to the Interior, where you can see photos of the restoration and a unique view.

  • I would like to ask Mr Mayor of Ascoli Piceno if ever passes from the Roman bridge that allows us to enter the city from porta cappuccina, Ivy is coming halfway through the portal, the battlements along the river tronto greti once filled with brushwood Brambles and trees. Some care wouldn't hurt ...
