  • First visit to Sardinia 40 years ago and the third now: someone in the meantime decided that should not affect cultural tourism but only the attendance of the beaches, then a rude girl at the box office tells me that the nuraghe "cannot be visited because it is collapsing "(??? No sign that says that? Compulsory guided tour and can not get it? And who visited him the day before?) others that it is closed the gate of the Tomb (just push it), but in addition to those that are well pay 10 euro x Park near the beach, there are also people who would spend 2 soldi x any illustrative booklet or similar and which range in Sardinia x i his past and not just x its sea ... I'm sorry, but are choices which in the long run do not pay, especially in a region that has many problems but that obviously doesn't care about trying to solve them

  • We visited all that was possible to see on the site. The place is interesting, if you consider how many centuries back, but the whole thing: Nuraghe, Temple, Tomb of the Giants, is poorly maintained, semi-abandoned, with no signs are faded or torn. A wooden gate separates you from the uphill alleging to the Tempietto (we were told at the ticket office which was closed, however was not true). The Nuraghe, a green well beside the road relies on the honesty of the visitor because no one will check your ticket at the door. In fact, you enter easily without control. If you compare this site with the most famous Stonehenge (immaculately maintained and windfall for gadgets, catalogues, eyc.) there is no shame!

  • For us this was one of the most beautiful nuraghes so well worth a visit. Is also very friendly. There is a large parking lot across the street from the course. You can reach via a tunnel under the course the nuraghe. If you want to visit several archaeological sites on the bvb. 2 days is a combi-ticket recommended (also cheaper).

  • A very particular Nuraghe built of the rocks. Visit also tempietto Malchittu (2km walk) and the Tombe dei Giganti accross the road. Can't miss Nuraghe La Prisgiona and Tombe dei Giganti Capichera (both at 5mins drive)
  • The pizza was good. It is near the entrance of one of the archaeological sites of Arzachena.
  • Easy access to Nuraghe with the family and a fantastc view near Arzachena. Staff is very kind!
  • Ancient ruins with no history
  • The nuraghe also fortified dwelling, generally considered Chief of the village, stands a granite leans against an emergency which encompasses large portions, affecting the overall shape of the building. The prevalence of mass among spaces and the articulation of the environments they ascribe the Albucciu Nuraghe of "Hall", although affected by the experience of brainstem-shell Lancet tholos, namely the false dome. The entrance opens onto the East façade, punctuated by a series of shelves that, originally, they were to hold a larger number of wooden balustrade on the terrace. Beyond the entrance, you notice some elements of the closing by a wooden door blocked by a pole stayed in two contrasting niches on the walls on the sides. We find ourselves in a keystone corridor whose ceiling sees a false dome interposed between a stretch of roof slab floors and a stepped ascending tract, at the staircase leading to the upper floor. Mastery in the use of architectural techniques and gimmicks such as the exhaust window, which lightens the weight of the structure in the weakest point of the lintel, namely at the port light, is well visible in the room that opens to the right of passage and concatenated to it environments. On the left, instead, a deep closet for storage of food is partially dug into the rock and covered in sheets. The broader environment of the building develops in the South, with access from a presumable ladder dropped from the balcony in a courtyard adjacent to that compartment. The coverage was obtained by projecting out of the walls, which rise to a height that allows the creation of a wooden loft that scompartiva the compartment into two floors. In the bottom pane, double Lancet window ensured the lighting and ventilation; a seat near the hearth and a wall locker create even the suggestion of staying there. The upper floor of the dolmen is occupied by a large terrace. On it are articulated five environments and an area subcircolare, where they had to perform major activities of daily living of the building, judging by the amount of artifacts. To a simple, based on the practice of herding and agriculture, reconnect the ceramic forms returned from the excavations. By contrast, bronze objects and import copper, along with other local Bill, offered testimony to the presence of the community of Albucciu in Recent trade trasmarini during the bronze age and early iron age.
