  • Petrarca's house where the poet spent his final years is a delightful medieval villa on the hills, with terraced gardens and beautifully kept and rich, but not charged, of explanations, verses of the poet and other poets here stopped in recollection (as the Bishops that here was moved, wept and place ' in memory of the great Francesco) and ancient frescoes. The enthusiasm and commitment of the Guide and the guardian. A twenty-minute video introduces the life and wanderings of the poet, then you visit the rooms of the ground floor and the first floor, which opens onto the arches of the era, with clear information panels. Finally a refreshing ride in gardens not large but orderly and flourished (in season). It's really worth.

  • It was definitely a good experience. As soon as we stepped from the little garden decorated with boxwood hedges very well we were invited to watch a comprehensive screening which explained the poet's life and described the House that we were going to visit. Then we saw the ground floor, assigned servants, and then hopped on the first floor where we were able to visit the real home of the poet. Beautiful view from the balcony at 360° in the Euganean Hills and picturesque the back garden on two levels where they grow many giuggioli, plants typical of the area from which we get the famous "Brodo di giuggiole", a delicious liqueur. Admission costs 4 euros. To visit!

  • La casa del Petrarca is undoubtedly beautiful: the entrance, dominated by garden, door to admire the facade with stairs leading to the upper floors where you will find some important relics of the life and works of the great master, including mark the reconstruction of his studio, which brings back memories of his works. The Interior is well maintained and well lit and the ticket costs € 4.00 is a sustainable amount. We have made the visit on a cold and rainy day but the beauty of the place is definitely better with the sunshine! A must see if you go to Arquà!

  • Located in the village of Arquà Petrarca. It's a pretty House well renovated. With a small garden. Inside there are frescoes dating back to the period when Petrarch lived there. Two vintage ' finds ' kept in a room not accessible but with two glass doors that allow their view. You can watch a video that explains in a short life is the last years of the life of poet and writer.

  • A well cared for and is particular in the footsteps of the last years of the great poet. Original wooden ceilings and frescos. Beautiful village around the village, to explore on foot (beware of many roads uphill) to catch glimpses to capture even more striking in the clear and sunny day and with the warm colors of autumn. Great romantic walk too ...

  • La casa del Petrarca is small, well preserved walls decorated with an interesting symbolism, a tiny garden. You can walk into the House of a great poet leaves you a nice feeling.

  • Arcuá Petrarca is a nice village, small but nice. La casa del Petrarca, a disappointment ... There is nothing to see
