  • After a nice walk through the streets of downtown, we brought on at the foot of this promontory. We decided to upgrade to the steep path to the doors of a gate (that's the point 45.763086, 8.556534), which for photo enthusiasts will be shooting some magical theatre during the summer months. Once you arrive at the top, you will enjoy the view of the fortress, with its botanical garden full of trees of all kinds. Fragrant pine with a bench underneath it. The view, as stated above, is spectacular during the warmer months. Higher up there is a bar that offers a varied menu with excellent cutting boards and wines at an affordable price. You will enjoy some refreshments while enjoying the view. I highly recommend visiting this place during spring and summer.

  • For those wishing to take a nice walk on Sunday Council The Rocca Borromeo in Arona there is to walk if you want you can also arrive by car but personally I recommend the footpath in the countryside with views of Lake Maggiore anyway at the top of the rock of what remains of course suffered the feeling of arriving almost in Paradise a spectacular view of three-quarters of Lake Maggiore obviously with clear skies beautiful park with a pond then for those who want to tease a little something there is a food court that I personally recommend cooking staff good and courteous advice for families with children since there is also a reserved area on the playground or romantic evening tour for aperitif

  • This Park is easy to get to from Arona.La sunny location, the ruins, spectacular views and a chance to kids to play and eat at the bar in the middle of the Park make it an outdoor attraction applies both in summer and winter, both for families and walkers. I like being able to read the name of the plants in the botanical path, the peace that reigns in sunny meadows, particularly in winter, and a chance to walk the San Carlone or take a short walk in the Woods halfway up the hillside. Often in summer, there are performances by choirs, which are always interesting. When I go there with my mother, who can't walk far, take the train from the square in front of the Lake, near the train station of Arona. I like this place because it can be easily reached by train and avoid driving in queues and pollution. Today January 6 the view was spectacular and the Corte Della Rocchetta offered hot food delicious! Today the Park was open as all Saturdays and Sundays even before March 2017. -15 10-minute uphill walk from the waterfront.

  • Very beautiful castle including a puppet museum. Definitely worth a visit. :) For 10€ you will get the possibility to have a perfect sight over the lake and its surroundings.
  • Doll & Toy Museum is AWESOME. My daughter, age 6, and I had a great experience walking through the castle (which is also beautiful). Dolls and toys from all over the world, including their histories. We could well have spent all day at the castle and on the grounds. Unforgettable experience.
  • A fortress turned into a doll museum...but the view of the Lake Maggiore from it is amazing!!
  • A fort in nice condition offering magnificent views over the lake.
  • Stunning views and beautiful Castle
