  • This is a well constructed and maintained road connecting two alpine valleys, the Stura valley in Italy and the Ubaye valley in France. the Pass is at 2000 meter and had many trailheads. The road pass...  more »
  • The Maddalena pass is very relaxing, though we pass many vehicles (many motorcycles) is, however, quite soft and surrounding grassy meadows, just isolate themselves. There is also a pond that, on hot days, contributes to a bit of refreshment. The way to achieve it is very nice. If you have a bit of luck, you can see even the marmots.

  • The natural part (for which no one has merit) is still beautiful but the road ... are 10 years old that I pass at least once a year, and each time it's worse than the previous one ... going up from Vinadio the curves are now scrapped from trucks going up and are pure off road ... the French side (much better) is beginning to undergo the same process (to scale) when we was good was perfect Now we sucks and the road is passable but perfect 10 years ago now there's just the memory
