  • Charming square with its calm and tranquility that prepares for recollection that inspires this Romanesque nave with a beautiful wooden roof trusses. The high side Windows converge the light towards the altar where there is a crucifix by Cimabue that has nothing to envy to his brother placed in the Church of Santa Croce in Florence. Stop for those visiting the city.

  • The church looking at it from outside brings to mind the days when churches were founded by faith and not to flaunt wealth and glitz. The building is compared to a Bell Tower and adorned with a single entrance porch. The Interior (nave) instead, a time offered for sure a show that would leave you speechless. The walls are decorated with what's left of the old frescoes. On the altar, suspended, makes a fine show if a wooden crucifix, as well as the roof.

  • Interesting the façade, its interior cherishes a famous crucifix by Cimabue.

  • Beautiful temple. Going into it, I drew attention to a White Dove, prisevšego on the lintel above the entrance. Surprisingly, but leaving the temple again I saw this pigeon that flew off the track and he accompanied me to the Cathedral of San Donato. Coincidence perhaps). The entrance to the temple is free. The main shrine of the Church-crucifix 13 century, full of Cimabue. The Church belongs to the adjacent homonymous monastery
