  • With a panoramic view of the Valley that really takes your breath away. It was the end of winter, clear skies. Not to be missed.

  • A blessing in disguise for the inhabitants of Arezzo have a park so downtown, where there is enough space for everyone. Not to mention the Fortezza Medicea, that by comparison the siena does look bad. And the view at 360 degree views of the city and is the icing on the cake.

  • We got extremely lucky! We know the history of this fortress and vicissitudes that lived, but when we entered the fortress we asked a volunteer who was there an indication regarding the path to do. Probably this gentleman very kind and accommodating and realized that we were not the usual cogl ... which were to mess around and do 2 chiffchaff photographs at panorama, and offered to get us by Cicero. My heartfelt thanks to this gentleman, even though we were prepared, we learned so much from him. My husband eventually wanted to offer him a coffee, but there was no way ... There is also disappointed because it was a spectacular tour and a small but symbolic rewards deserved ... The restoration work, are not at all finished, because in Italy, when excavations inevitably are. ... Have come to light lately many exhibits both Roman and Etruscan later. And it shows that it is still a construction site. As for the scenery, beautiful but we weren't there for that. at least not only ...

  • Finally returned to the city of arezzo his Medicean fortress after many years of restoration. the wait was worth it because the work done by the workers and by archaeologists is simply breathtaking. have yielded numerous facilities belonging to different historical epochs submerged for centuries in the embankment that he hid a real architectural jewel. There is a wonderful view over the old town and the surrounding valleys. Tuscany. Arezzo.
