  • I don't like the museums, but I really wanted to visit the Criptoportico Forense Forum except at the entrance of the same we found that the ticket office is located in the nearby archaeological museum. Start by saying that I would highly recommend a visit to the Museum because, Yes, full of classical artifacts and "alternative" (I collect nuts and I thoroughly enjoyed the part dedicated to games dating back to the year Zero), but very well done and international style. What does it mean? Means they have numerous media where visitors can also interact, beautiful quotes on each wall of the Museum, detailed reproductions of foods and common objects beside the exhibits perfectly restored. Last but not least descriptive panels in braille: fantastic!. Downstairs is the fun part: the excavations! A long journey will make you literally lose through the maze of old buildings from Roman times. There are no railings or other screens (if not on the highest points) and that I was very pleased because it remains a modern Museum, where common sense, left entirely free to decide the direction and places to visit. I particularly enjoyed the lights used for creative lighting and the ability to read the various stages of the excavations. Very nice oven and well (without end ...). Advice advice advice!!! You miss a lot if you don't visit this site!

  • A beautiful and very well maintained Museum, it is part of 4 sites that can be visited taking the package to € 7. It is a place that brings together a lot of object discovered during the excavations of the city but also other places and other continents. The coin collection is impressive and very interesting.

  • The small archaeological museum had a few interesting Roman artefacts but does not loom large in my memory.  more »

  • Interesting view that focuses on the life, customs and traditions of the Christian life. A modern tour with parts "touchables" pull the drawers
