  • Building complex of great value, particularly the cloister with its wonderful capitals, the Interior of the Church is well preserved, the crypt, the external Bell Tower, all nice and interesting and well preserved, deserves a socta.

  • The Sant'Orso collegiate is a jewel of Romanesque architecture. Ancient was extended in the 12th century. The imposing Romanesque Bell Tower with its base in huge blocks, the beautiful façade where you can see the old Bell Tower, the Interior and the cloister, are also very beautiful. Not to be missed

  • It is a stage that it cannot lose because it reveals an ancient history and rich aura of little mystery that never hurts! Let's say the structure reveals a very beautiful and meaningful architectural layering ranging between many periods. Important Ottonian frescoes, which is related to the 9th and 10th centuries, the cloister with the capitals were, as not all of them are kept, they tell, who knows something about the middle ages, a beautiful and fascinating history. Don't forget the magnificent façade of the Priory and the old Linden tree. We were talking about mystery: in fact mosaics have been found near the step that contain the famous Sator Rotas-palindrono, just with rotas as first term. Anyway just inquire and about this church and its large priori there is everything.

  • Don't miss the cloister; jewel of the monumental complex of Sant'Orso, accessible through a doorway opened on the right side of the façade. The capitals, sculpted in marble, symbolic of the new and old testament scenes depict admirably, the life of Sant'Orso, characters and fantastic animals or contain different stationery. Are considered among the highest expressions of Romanesque sculpture.
